Galt Swim Meet Info.
Hi AP Dolphin Families,
We are swimming against the Galt Gators this Saturday, June 10th. Coaches would like all AP swimmers to check-in at 6:45 AM so please take this into consideration when you set your alarms on Friday night. A map of the swimming facility is attached to this email. Welcome to the Gora Aquatic Center, Home of the Galt Gators! We are located at 610 Chabolla Ave, Galt, CA 95632.
Parking: Parking is available along the street, in the aquatic center parking lot and in the large Galt Market parking lot directly across the street from the pool. Gates will open at 6:30 am.
Visiting Team Setup Area: The visiting team area is a large grass field right behind the pool at Fairsite Elementary. You can access this by walking through the skate park.
Snack Bar: We have a snack bar that offers a variety of foods for sale and a local coffee shop that is a short one and a half block walk to the North of the facility.
Race Viewing: We have a large bleacher area for excellent viewing of the meet, but ask that families do not camp out in the bleachers so that there is plenty of room for everyone to view the meet.
Volunteers: Volunteers should report to their positions no later than 8:20am to ensure the meet starts on time. Stroke and turn judges should report to the scoring table no later than 8:10am for the officials’ meeting.
Warm-up Times:
- 7:15 AM to 7:45 AM – Galt Gators
- 7:45 AM to 8:15 AM – Visiting team
8:10 AM - Stroke & Turn Judges meet by the Starter Table
8:20 AM – Team Cheers & Timer/ Ready Bench Check Time
8:25 AM – National Anthem Time
8:30 AM – Meet Start Time
