Coach Greg Head Coach / Senior Group Coach

Coach Greg is starting his twelfth season with the Dolphins this year, and eighth year as Head Coach. Greg has been involved in swimming since age seven, and competed through college at Santa Rosa JC and Sacramento State. He started coaching while still in high school and has coached all levels of swimmers from beginners to Olympic Gold Medalists. He also spent eight years on the retail side of the sport managing two NorCal Swim Shop stores. He loves helping our swimmers achieve their goals and become the best PEOPLE they can be. While winning is fun, he believes it is the hard work, dedication, and accountability our athletes learn about that is by far the most important think that they can take away from their time as Dolphins. Greg is running a successful Real Estate business while he coaches the Dolphins and sees a lot of similarities in the two activities. He has loved his time with the Dolphins and sees the Dolphins more as family than just a swim team. #FlippersUp

Coach Stefanie Age Group Coach

Stefanie is excited to start her fourth season coaching with the Dolphins! Stefanie has been a swimmer since the age of 10. She started coaching while still in high school and continued coaching for several teams in Sacramento and the Bay Area. She ultimately landed at Arden Hills coaching rec and year-round swimmers for 5 years, as well as two seasons at El Camino High School. She then moved to Arkansas where she ran a swim academy and helped develop a swim team before moving back to California. She has continued teaching private lessons and working individually with swimmers. When her boys started playing water polo, they decided that they would like to start swimming as well, bringing her back to the swimming world! Her favorite thing is teaching technique and her goal is to make sure that swimmers are having fun while learning.

Coach Emily Age Group Coach

Emily is returning for her tenth year as a Dolphin Coach. Emily’s swim career spanned 15 years, swimming competitively from age 4 to 19. She swam in summer recreation, year-round, high school and college programs. Growing up in a family of 5, her siblings swam as well – so she understands and appreciates how a swim program is a great environment for both children and parents alike. She began coaching in her teens for summer recreation programs as well as assistant coaching her high school's Junior Varsity program. Along with coaching, she has also worked as a swim instructor since her teens. Besides working as a coach for Del Norte Swim Team, Emily is also the Aquatics Director of Del Norte Club. She is a stay-at-home mom with a background in Education as well as Biology/Nursing. She is excited to be a part of the Del Norte program and is passionate about teaching both new swimmers and experienced alike!
