MAVS EMAIL: Week of 5/29
Hey Everyone,
I hope you all had a fun and safe holiday weekend and no practice MONDAY Memorial Day. We had a great meet down in Stockton at UOP. Tons of best times including Evi Lopez earning her first JO qualifying time and Emma Warner securing her first Far Western cut. Congratulations to all of our athletes and thank you parents for making all of these meets possible.
Coming up we have Summer Sanders (closes 6/1) and our Napa meet (closes 6/24) to look forward to. If you are planning on going to either of these meets and have not signed up yet please do so as soon as possible.
Weekly Schedule
We will have our normal schedule this week Tuesday-Thursday. On Friday Whitney High School is holding graduation thus moving normal practice times but to hold them at Rocklin High pool.
No Practice Saturday 6/3
Long Course Practice 6/4 at Roseville Aquatic Complex
Juniors, Preseniors, Seniors: 11:00am-12:30pm
Blue: 11:00am-12:00pm
Gray: 12:00pm-12:30pm
Friday 6/2 Practice at Rocklin High at the normal practice time to avoid Whitney High graduation
Next weeks schedule
Reminder that next week WHS will be closed to resurface a portion of the pool deck. Please see below in red font for full information.
The Whitney High School pool will be closed the week of June 5th while the district does work on the pool deck. We have put together what we believe to be the most effective schedule during that time. During that week we will have morning practices at the Roseville Aquatic Complex (RAC) for all swimmers that are out of school and an evening practice for swimmers who are still in school at Rocklin High School.
MAVS: Practice schedule Monday-Thursday(6/5-6/8). NO PRACTICE FRIDAY 6/9. There will be practice 6/10, time and place TBD.
Senior/Presenior: 7:00am-9:00am @ RAC
Juniors:7:00PM-8:30PM @ Rocklin High School
Blue: 7:00am-8:15am @ RAC
Grey: 8:15am-9:00am @ RAC
Makeup Practice: This practice is only for swimmers who are in the Lincoln and Roseville School Districts while they are still in school. If your swimmer out of school this week they need to attend their practice time listed above. All makeup practices will be in the evenings at RHS
Mavs:
Seniors/Preseniors: 7:00-8:30pm
Blue: 7:00-8:15pm
Grey:7:00-7:45pm
