Time Drops are awarded for a valid (non-disqualifying) time that is a swimmers best time for the season. The season starts with time trials. Time drops are not recognized for beating times from a previous season. A swimmer must have at least one valid time for a given event THIS SEASON before a swimmer can better that time and earn a time drop.
