“This will be coach Ana’s first year as the head coach for the Dolphins and she couldn’t be more excited! Prior to becoming head coach, Ana spent two years coaching the Sea Lions Special Olympics team, four years as an Adapted Aquatics instructor, one season at Chesterbrook as the Little Jaws Head Coach, and the past three summers/winters assistant coaching Hayden Village swim team. Ana grew up in Burke, Virginia swimming for Potomac Marlins year-round and was a 4-year athlete at Lake Braddock High School (Go Bruins!). After high school, Ana attended Franklin and Marshall College, where she was a 4-year athlete for the Diplomats.

Away from the pool, Ana received her VA Licensure in Special Education, K-12, and a Master of Education, Special Education from George Mason University. During the school year, you can find Ana at Little Run Elementary, where she works as a 6th grade special education teacher. When she is not teaching or coaching, you can find Ana outdoors hiking with her corgi Finley!”
