Campo Cabana Club First Year CIT Program
The Coach in Training (CIT) volunteer program at Campolindo Cabana Club is open to rising 8th graders who are members of the swim team in good standing.
CITs will work with coaching staff to help teach the Mini Marlins. We believe in a “hands on” approach. The coaching staff will be teaching you while you help teach our Mini Marlins. Coaches will teach you our LTS (Learn to Swim) teaching style, skills, drills and organization plans as you help the minis.
The requirements to join our CIT group for 2022 are:
- You are going into 8th grade
- You have registered to be on the CCC Swim Team
- You understand that this is a volunteer opportunity
- You are willing to learn and help with our Mini Marlin Program 2 days a week during the spring and 3 days a week during the summer.
- You understand that the effort and attitude you offer the team determines if future opportunity on the coaching staff is offered to you.
- You are available to attend Saturday Training Sessions from 12pm-2pm on March 26th, April 23rd, and May 7th.
There are three Saturday Training sessions and workout volunteer requirements for training throughout the spring and summer. You will sign-up for attending Saturday Trainings and Mini Marlin workouts via Sign-up Genius. Once you receive the email, it’s first come first serve!
To Apply:
If you are interested in volunteering as a CIT, send an email to Mini Marlins Coach Christina at [email protected] Outline your interest, experience, and why you think you would make a great CIT. Letters are due February 15th to be considered for the program.
