Assistant Coaches:

Grace Cowell
Hi, I’m Grace Cowell. I have been on the PHSC swim team for thirteen years. I swam on KEY swim team for nine years. I was a junior coach for two years and an assistant coach for three years. This is my fifth year as a coach of some sort. I just graduated from Centerville High School and will be continuing my education at Ohio University in the fall! I’m so excited to see everyone again and to be this year’s captain fighting fish! 🐠

Gracy Frank
This will be my second year coaching and life guarding at PHSC. I have been a club swimmer for about 6 years, and I’ve spent 3 years on the Centerville High School team. I’ve been coaching for about 4 years. My favorite memory of being a Fighting Fish was championship finals last season because of the encouraging team atmosphere we created. I enjoy reading, walking my dogs, concerts, and I love animals! I lifeguard and teach swim lessons at the South YMCA. I also play lacrosse, and I have about 3 years of experience playing for the Lady Elks. I‘ve received a varsity letter all 3 years that I’ve swam for Centerville. In the 2020-2021 season, I received the Elk Award for having good sportsmanship. I was chosen by my teammates to be a JV captain for the Lady Elks Lacrosse team for the 2022 season. I’m looking forward to having fun on the swim team this year!!

Paige Cowell
I have been swimming on the Pleasant Hill swim team since I was five so this is my tenth year on the team. I was a junior coach for two years and this is my second year as a six and unders assistant coach. Some of my favorite memories were made at swim meets, especially championship meets. Those are always the most fun and there is always a great crowd and lots of cheering for our fellow teammates. All and all it's a great environment during the season. This will be my second year working at PHSC and I recently started working at the Rec center as a lifeguard. I have been cheering since second grade and this year I will be cheering for JV football and basketball along with the gameday squad at Centerville high school. I have definitely improved in my swimming techniques and my cheering techniques and tumbling skills throughout all these years and I will continue to get better and work hard. I am very excited for this season and can't wait to make it a great one!

Clara VonHandorf
Hi! My name is Clara and this is my second year as an assistant coach. I was a Jr. Coach for 4 years and have swam at Pleasant Hill for 10 years. I also swam for KEY for 7 years. Although I don’t swim year round anymore, I play field hockey and basketball for Fairmont High School. Some of my favorite memories from swimming were with coaches. I loved getting to hang out with them and how invested and inclusive they were. I loved swimming in relays, fun practices after winning meets, and having people cheer me on. I love Pleasant Hill and am so happy I get the chance to be a coach and be apart of swimmers’ memories.

Maddie Krug
Hey PHSC families! I’m Maddie Krug, and this will be my 2nd year coaching, and my 8th season swimming for Pleasant Hill. I was a competitive swimmer up until last year for the South YMCA. I’ve really enjoyed swimming, and sharing my love for the sport with others. I also am a part of marching band and colorguard. Some of my most fond memories from when I was younger are through this team. I’m so excited to continue making memories, and to be a part of the team of coaches this year!

Mya Seitz
My name is Mya Seitz, and I am going to be a sophomore at Miamisburg High School. When I'm not busy with tennis and swim team, I enjoy attending sporting events with my friends. In my spare time, I like to babysit, watch movies, and hang out with my family. I'm looking forward to the upcoming swim season as a first-time coach, but previously worked as a CIT leader and at the concession stand. Can't wait to be a part of this team. Go Fighting Fish!
Lead Jr Coach: Ryan Snizik
I started swimming in the summer of 2018 when I went to one of my neighbor’s swim meets and thought that I could totally do this. I signed up in the middle of the season, not signing up earlier is something I regret. Swimming with Pleasant Hill has connected me with new people to the point where they are almost like family to me. The best part of every season as a coach is seeing the swimmers improve so much throughout the season. Along with swimming I run track and cross country, play soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Something I am proud of is getting the opportunity to become a coach and helping other swimmers.
