The YMCA of USA requires most swim officials to be YMCA certified. Coach Jim is a YMCA Swim Official Trainer and is always looking for parents who will serve as Certified Y Swim Officials.

There are 3 levels of Y swim officials:

Level 1 is an Official capable of judging Swim Strokes and Turns

Level 2 has the knowledge and skills to Referee and Start swim meets

Level AO is a technical official who makes sure all swim meet times are accurate and usable.

YMCA Swim Meets cannot be operated without trained and certified YMCA swim officials. Consider becoming one. Check with Coach Jim if interested.
