2022 Seven Locks Swim Team Coaching Staff

Head Coach Kevin - Kevin Mejia is new to the Seven Locks swim team swamily this year, but grew up swimming in the MCSL for the Glenmont Gators.   His love for competition, camaraderie, and all things fun at the MCSL level drove him to start coaching. Along with coaching throughout his high school years, Kevin swam club for RMSC. After graduating, Kevin led the Gators from Division N to Division C through 7 seasons as their Head Coach. Kevin was also the head coach of the RMSC Senior Group at KSAC for 5 years and throughout that time also worked closely with the Juniors, Minis, NDGs, and Advanced Seniors. In 2017, Kevin joined FINS as a senior programs director and head coach where he has helped develop athletes of all ages and skill levels. Coach Kevin is passionate about creating a fun, organized, and inclusive environment. Kevin doesn't subscribe to the idea of an A and B team, and instead believes that there is only one team and that all swimmers should support and encourage each other every chance they get!

Assistant Head Coach Justin - Justin Burgett is thrilled to join the Seven Locks Swim Team for the Summer 2022 season!  He is a recent graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park where he received a bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and a minor in Sustainability Studies.
