The Wellington Dolphins Summer Competitive program runs from the first Tuesday after Memorial Day through the last Saturday in July (Divisional Meet). Swimmers who join the team as competitive swimmers will be expected to attend practices and compete in Meets. There are eight meet "events" during the summer season:

Time Trials: Held the Saturday before the first meet (typically the second Saturday in June)

Six Dual (or Tri) Meets:  Held each Saturday morning for six consecutive weeks

Division Championship Meet: Held the last Saturday in July, or first Saturday in August in years where July 4th falls on a Saturday.

Registration fees include, 9 weeks of instructional practices (up to 5 hours a week), Prince William County Swim League registration fees, entry to weekly meets (Time Trials, 6 Dual-Meets, and Divisionals), weekly achievement awards, weekly placement ribbons, end-of-season participation award, and a free T-shirt.

Registration fees do NOT include your team suit, goggles, caps, or other training equipment, i.e., fins or hand paddles.
