Head Coach Maurie

Maurie Stevens is SPST's Head Coach. A position he has held for the past 7 years. As a swimmer, he was on summer swim leagues for 11 years, swam for 4 years in high school, and swam 1 year for George Mason University. Maurie believes that "swimming is important because it gives young people a great sense of accomplishment and confidence that helps them mature and take on challenges in life." He adds, "Being able to inspire a sense of accomplishment and promise is why I love to coach."
