Welcome to the VOSD COMPETITIVE and DEVELOPMENTAL Swim Team Electronic Registration platform for our upcoming swim season! The process is simple for both new and returning members. You'll get access to your own private account that will enable you easily declare for swim meets, sign-up for jobs, see your children's swim times histories, maintain your own contact information, and more.

Practice dates and times will be announced closer to the beginning of the season.

Assistant Coach applications will be posted to the website and sent via email distribution.  Peer Coach applications will be available on April 1, due April 14.

Competitive Team:

Our Competitive team program will run from May 30th through July 29th, 2023.  While there is not a strict age limit to be on the team, your child must be water-safe and able to "swim" in that they are capable of going from one end of the pool (25 Meters) to the other without hanging on the lane line, walking on the bottom, or panicking.  They do not need to know how to swim the various strokes. Our Coaching staff will help develop the strokes and they will start swimming competitively with Free and Back and then move to Breast and Butterfly.  They won't be forced to swim anything they aren't ready for. 

Developmental Program:

Our Developmental program will run from June 19th through July 21st, 2023. Your child must be 4 years old by June 1st and comfortable in the water to participate. Most participants are between the ages of 4 and 8 years old.  This program is for those children who are not quite able to swim 25 meters across the pool and/or are not yet ready for the competitive Swim Team. Participants will be evaluated prior to the start of this program for skill level and placement.  The developmental team is typically split into 3 groups, based on level.  The practices are ONLY in the morning.  The “season” ends with a Mini-Meet on Friday July 21st at the pool.

Practice dates and times will be announced closer to the beginning of the season but will likely follow the schedule from the 2022 season.

Early Registration (through April 30th)

Fees: $175 per swimmer for the Competitive Team - residents.  $190 non-residents.
Fees: $150 per swimmer for the Developmental Team - residents.  $165 non-residents.

Late Registration:  All fees increase by $10 May 1st and beyond.

Fees: $185 per swimmer for the Competitive Team - residents.  $200 non-residents.
Fees: $160 per swimmer for the Developmental Team - residents.  $175 non-residents.

Payment by Credit Card.  

Registration fee includes latex swim cap & team t-shirt (registrations after 4/28 may not receive desired t-shirt size).  Be sure to update your returning swimmer's t-shirt size in your account. Swimsuits are to be purchased separately from our swimsuit vendor prior to the start of the season. 

Refunds

Refunds will be provided on a pro-rated basis.  Credit card fees and tee shirt cost will not be refunded.
