After rain delays, a mini-monsoon and a reschedule the Hampton Oaks Hurricanes completed the 2019 regular season with a win against the Lake of the Woods Barricudas.  The final score was 264 to 117.  With that win, the Hurricanes cemented its second undefeated season in the American Division.  The Hurricanes also pulled down three triple winners in the meet:  Ryan Garcia, Zack Hubbard and Anka Whelan. The Hampton Oaks Hurricanes extended their winning season by defeating Salem Fields.  The final score was HOST 231, Salem Fields 121.  Even through a heat delay and a thunder delay, the teams were able to complete a legal meet swimming up through the required events.  Two Hurricanes were able to take triple winner honors:  Sofia Mcafee and Coach Nate. Meet results have been posted to the Results page!   Good luck to the Hurricanes for their final meet against Lake of the Woods!

Hampton Oaks wins its second meeting against Grafton!  It was an exciting match with both teams swimming great races!  In the end the Hurricanes were able to keep their lead and ultimately proved victorious with a final score of HO 291 - G 216.  In addition there were more Huricanes triple winners.  Mia Woodruff earned a triple winner and both Anka Whelan as well as Sofia Mcafee continued their streak of triple winner honors.  Great job to all our swimmers!

Hampton Oaks won against Lake of the Woods today in the make-up meet from June 19.  Both teams swam their hearts out and displayed excellent sportsmanship.  Lake of the Woods was a gracious host and everyone showed great spirit.  The Hurricanes had 5 of the 6 triple winners from the meet.  Taking home triple winner honors were: Malia Osborn, Anka Whelan, Sofia Mcafee, Ryan Garcia and Nathan Pechacek.  The Final score was 295 Hampton Oaks - 208 Lake of the Woods. Up next, Grafton on 7/10!

The Hampton Oaks Hurricanes won their second meet in a row, defeating the Grafton Dolphins.  The Hurricanes are now 2-0 this season.  Great sportsmanship and good team spirit were on full display as always. The following is a video tutorial on how to declare your swimmer for a meet.  Please make sure to do this for EVERY meet, whether you swimmer is a YES or a NO.  This helps our coaches with meet planning.

The Hampton Oaks Hurrianes once again made a strong showing, this time against all the American Division teams in the RSL American Division Finals. The Hurricanes ultimately took 2nd place but all swimmers showed the grit and fire that got them the undefeated regular season win.  Many swimmers dropped their times, came from behind and swam their hearts out!  Congratulations to the team for an amazing season! Hampton Oaks completed it's final meet of the season with a win against the Chancellor Blue Dolphins.  The win clinched the American Division and capped off an amazing, and undefeated, regular season.  The Hurricanes showed heart and determination against an evenly matched team.  The final score was 301 to 209. Triple Winners for the Hurricanes:  Sophia McAfee (her 3rd), and Chase Gary (his 4th).   HO 4 and 0! Hampton Oaks wins its 4th straight regular season meet against the College Heights Gators with a score of 285 to 223. Congratulations to our triple winners: Geoff Whalen and Dylan Lohr.  An additional congrats to Maja Garcia for her second triple winner performance, Chase Gary for his third and a special shout-out to Zack Hubbard for his 5th triple winner performance of 5 meets!   Well done to all our swimmers for fantastic swims, great sportsmanship and poise through a tough meet.
