Coaches

Dunsinane welcomes back Sarah Zipes as our swim team head coach and Faith Poulton as our new Dive coach!  Many of the assistant coaches from last season will be returning as well.

Eligibility

Families must have an active Dunsinane Swim Club membership to register children for the swim or dive team. (Info here on how to register as a club member). Each family will need to register on both the pool registration site (eSoftPlanner) and TeamUnify.

Children ages 18-and under with a basic comfort level in the water are eligible to join. Your team registration will not become active until your 2023 club membership is active.

Swim meets will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays between June 13 and July 13. Dive meets are typically held on Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings.)

Team Shirts, Suits, Caps

> Team shirts and latex swim caps will be provided this season (to those registered before 5/30), included with your team registration fee.  Silicone swim caps may be substituted for the latex cap for an additional fee of $10. More info will be sent via email.

> Team swim suits will be available for purchase from Parrot Sports Gear at team discounted prices. (by June 3). If you missed the deadline, stop by their store to see if they have some in the store. Any one-piece suit is fine for girls and boys usually wear jammers.

Parent Jobs

  • If you are a swim team only family, you are required to work three or four (tbd) swim meet or special event jobs.
  • If you are a swim & dive team family, you are required to work one dive meet job and two or three (tbd) swim meet/special event jobs.
  • Each family can work no more than two jobs in a single meet/event.
  • We will assess families a $50 fee per job not worked at the end of the season.
