Head Coach
I have been helping adults and children learn to love the water for over 20 years! I am a certified water safety instructor, USA and American Swimming Coaches Association Level 2 Coach, and avid swimmer.
I believe that swimming, like any sport, has much to offer in terms of life lessons. This includes: managing competition, being part of a team while doing your personal best, developing discipline through hard work, and honing a life-saving skill. Learning proper stroke technique enables one to enjoy swimming and its many benefits, wherever a body of water can be found!

Meet Manager
I started working with the Bellaire Barracudas in 2021. I wear many hats for the Barracudas including being Meet Manager, party planner, and heading all the arts and craft projects! You can find me at tryouts, the first week of practice, parent meetings and of course swim meets!
Coach Marc
Team Manager
I will be returning this year as our Team Manager to diligently keep track of our swimmer’s times and maintain team data through the magical powers of Excel spreadsheets. By day I work as a Civil Engineer designing highways and bridges, by night I work at the Scoring Table at Swim Meets. In my youthful days I swam for the Barracudas prior to attending UT-Austin, where I continued my aquatic journey to improve my technique by taking several swimming courses. I will mostly be working behind the scenes at our Swim Meets and practices but always feel free to stop by and say hi!

Hi there! I am excited to be a part of the Bellaire Barracudas coaching staff again this summer. I just finished up a degree in Math/Finance at the University of Houston and am so happy I have been able to balance that with coaching swimming. It is very rewarding being able to pass down all that I have learned from competitive swimming in order to develop strong and efficient swimmers. Work hard and enjoy the summer season!

Hi swimmers! This will be my 3rd season coaching and I am very excited to come back! I have been swimming since I was 5, I was one of the co-captains for Bellaire High School as well as part of the water polo team. See you all in the pool!

Hi there my name is Natalie Cheng! I'm a senior at Bellaire High School and I have been swimming competitively for about 10 years and have recently gotten into waterpolo. I have been a part of the Bellaire Barracudas team for 8 years and I am excited to return as a coach again this year. I love working with my peers and other younger swimmers to improve our skills together and I'm ready to meet and make many new friends and great swimmers.

Hey everyone! I’m Peyton Cantrell and I’m a senior at Bellaire High School. I will be a 2nd year coach this year with the Barracudas! I have been swimming for as long as I can remember, and even swam with the Bellaire Barracudas. I’m so excited to teach y’all new skills and to have a great season!

Hi, I’m Katelynn Clay and I’m a senior at St. Agnes Academy where I am on the swim team. I first started swimming with the Bellaire Barracudas then RICE Aquatics and SHAC. So excited for this summer season and look forward to meeting everyone!

Hi there! I'm a Sophomore at Bellaire High School and I have been swimming competitively for about 10 years, and have recently picked up waterpolo too. I have been swimming with coach Sophie for 8 years and as a returning coach, I have been super excited to get back to make more memories. I love working with everyone and playing my part on the team. I can't wait to have a lot of fun with everyone this year!

Hi! I’m a sophomore at bellaire high school, and I participate in swimming, waterpolo, and FFA. I do jujitsu out of school and my hobbies are playing video games, writing, working out, and building legos. I enjoy teaching and even learning from other young swimmers and look forward to coaching for the bellaire barracudas!

Hi! I am a new barracuda, moved here from New York in 2022. I have swam my whole life and started my swimming career on a summer swim team when i was just 3. That team & my coaches made me fall in love with swimming and I havent stopped since. I have been coaching swimming, basketball and lacrosse since I was 16. I love working with kids and being someone they can look up to. Excited to start my 9th year of coaching and cant wait to meet you!
