Returning athletes are required to follow the policies set forth in the Sahuarita Stingrays Re-Opening Plan and sign and return the Sahuarita Stingrays COVID-19 Waiver.  Completed forms must be emailed to [email protected] prior to any athlete attending practice.

Sahuarita Stingrays COVID-19 Waiver

 

-Practices are shorter (no dryland) and offered only Monday, Wednesday, Friday. 
The number of swimmers per lane is limited to 3 swimmers all moving in one direction
Swimmers will not use any equipment during practice at this time. Water bottles are always strongly encouraged and are the one item swimmers may bring with them when jumping in the pool
No Bathroom/locker room access unless for absolute emergencies. Come to practice in your swimsuits and be prepared to leave without changing. Plan to shower and/or use the bathroom before and after practice at home.
-Athletes are expected to follow personal conduct guidelines. (No person-to-person contact, no spitting or splashing water at other swimmers or staff, stay minimum of 6 feet away at all times, sneeze and cough into sleeve/elbow or using a tissue)
-No swim meets for the summer of 2020. This is throughout all of USA Swimming. Coaches will update swim families regarding meet schedule updates.
-Swimmers are required to wear masks when entering and leaving the facility.
All swimmers and staff members will have their temperature scanned prior to entering the facility. Swimmers will not be allowed to practice if their temperature is in excess of 100.4 degrees F (temperature threshold for COVID-19). 
-If you are feeling sick, please stay home. Please see "Self-Monitoring" of the attached policy regarding if you have been in contact with someone with COVID-19 recently.
-The pool deck is now a completely closed deck to all except swimmers and coaches responsible for their practices. Parents will not be allowed to wait in the stands/bleachers and are instead encouraged to wait for their swimmer(s) in their car. 
All families must sign a waiver/assumption of risk form and agreement to follow team established health-related rules prior to participating in practices
