Do you offer swim lessons to non-members?

Yes! Our swimming lessons are open to the public.

 

What forms of payment do you accept for swim lessons?

Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Registration is not guaranteed until payment has been received. Please make checks payable to either Marine Hills Swim & Tennis Club (or MHRA).

 

How do I register my child for swim lessons?

Registration may be done at our Opening Day Celebration on Saturday, May 20th or any day thereafter during our summer season.

 

What if I'm not happy with my child's swim lesson placement?

If you feel your child is better suited for a different swim lesson, please speak to the Instructor or Pool Manager about your concerns. They will evaluate whether your child should be reassigned to a different swim lesson based on their ability.

 

Do you offer Parent/Tot lessons?

Yes! We offer Parent/Tot swim lessons.

 

Can my child take swim lessons if he/she is not potty trained?

Yes! Children who are not potty trained or have a difficult time telling someone they need to use the bathroom should wear "Swimmies" (also known as swim diapers) while in the pool. "Swimmies" may be purchased at the pool, if needed.

 

Am I permitted to get in the water with my child during their swim lesson?

Only during a Parent/Tot swim lesson is a Parent permitted to be in the pool. During all other swim lessons, only the enrolled student(s) may enter the pool - at any time - during the swim lesson with their instructor.

Are adult swim lessons available?

Yes! Adult swim lessons are hosted as private swim lessons (by appointment only). if interested in arranging a private Adult swim lesson, please email: [email protected].
