The Taz Swim Team is extremely excited to announce Brandon Mills as our new head coach. Brandon brings a wealth of swimming knowledge, experience, and great energy to our team and we are so thankful he will be leading our program. Brandon is not only passionate about swimming but also about fostering the growth of well-rounded student-athletes and strengthening team culture.

Brandon began his career swimming for the Taz and then local competitive clubs.  After a standout high school career with Oak Ridge HS, Brandon swam for Arizona State University where he was the recipient of the Arthur Ashe Jr. Diversity and Inclusion Award.

After graduating in 2017 with a B.S. in Human Communication, Brandon continued his education and earned a Masters of Sports Law and Business. He has held positions with the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Sports and Entertainment Commission, Swimmer Strength, and the PAC 12 Student-Athlete Leadership Team.

But swimming and teaching is his passion!

Since 2019 Brandon has been (and will continue to be) a coach at our local competitive swim program - Aqua Sol.  As a coach at Aqua Sol Brandon is the lead coach for the Gold Group and assistant with the Bronze Group.  Brandon was very fortunate to receive great coaching during his time as ASU and mentorship as a current coach at Aqua Sol by Darin Mai, Aimee Lehr, and Alan Rosenfeld.

We are so excited about this new chapter at Taz.  So please help us welcome our new head coach Brandon Mills.

Go Taz!
