The Folsom Sea Otters (FSO) rely heavily on sponsorships from community businesses to keep costs down, purchase equipment, provide swimmer scholarships, and more. FSO is a nonprofit public benefit 501(c)(3) corporation, which means your donation qualifies as a tax deductible donation!

Laps Challenge
One of our biggest fundraisers, the Laps Challenge will take place in June. Swimmers will see how many laps they can swim within 15 minutes based on their age group. Our goal is $50 or more raised per swimmer. Swimmers are encouraged to collect donations from friends and family. Prizes will be given to the swimmers collecting the most money and to those completing the most laps. Business owners are also encouraged to donate to our silent auction. More information will be sent during the season.
Apparel Sales & Swim Outlet Equipment
The Otters make a small amount on most of our apparel items and we receive a team credit for apparel, suits, equipment and goggles if purchased thru our SwimOutlet team store.
Fireworks Sales and Volunteering
The Otters team up with the Folsom Athletic Association (FAA) to sell fireworks Jun 28th thru Jul 4th. We get a percent of sales based on the number of shifts we work in the booth. You can help by volunteering to work a booth shift AND by purchasing your annual fireworks from an FAA / Folsom Youth Sports booth.
Sponsorship
If your business is interested in making a donation to the Sea Otters; we will place your business advertisement on our web site, FaceBook page and during swim meets and team events. We have various sponsorship levels that you can participate for a tax deductible sponsorship!
