Downs Farm Dive Team

 

The purpose of our Dive Team is to promote the sport of diving and for all participants to have fun!

The program is structured to serve the needs of all team members.

No experience is required.

      

Jolie is a Senior at Rhode Island College, where she is an all arounder on the gymnastics team.  She has been an assistant dive coach for two summers and Head Coach this past summer, where she coached divers to multiple new records. Jolie has worked as a camp counselor and gymnastics coach at Cherry Hill Gymnastics Academy for the past 6 years, with children of all ages. She was on Haddon Glen's dive team for 4 summers, where she broke two club records. Jolie is looking forward to building up the Downs Farm dive team, for a great season and a great summer!

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

5/30 - 6/21 Tuesday and Wednesday 7 - 8PM

6/22 - End of Season Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 12PM - 1PM

JOINING DIVE TEAM

All interested divers are wanted and welcome to come to the team practices.

DFSC has both a 1 & 3 meter diving board.

You do not have to register to practice the first week, just purchase AAU Insurance (instructions below), and introduce yourself to the coaches and let them know you are trying out the team. After the first week, you must be registered with fees paid to attend practice.

REQUIRED TO DIVE
Dive participants must register on-line with AAU ($14.00 fee). Please follow these simple steps:
Individual Registration for AAU Insurance

  • 1. Log on to www.aausports.org

  • 2. Click on "Join AAU"

  • 3. You can login if you already have an account, register a new account, or choose guest user

  • 4. Fill out the AAU Membership Form - General. Enter your child’s personal information

  • 5. For programs, select “Youth Program

  • 6. Select Sport "Diving"

  • 7. Select the Membership Term/Category - "Membership term expires August 31,  Regular Membership $14”

  • 8. For Club Code - enter W39E55

  • 9. Continue to Checkout

  • 9.Enter Billing Information and submit registration

  • 10.Print out your "printer friendly" receipt. The AAU membership card will be on the third page

​Please print 2 copies of the membership card. Keep one for yourself and the other for your swim club's diving representative.

Your child MAY NOT DIVE UNTIL THE INSURANCE CARD IS HANDED TO THE CLUB REPRESENTATIVE OR COACH.
