Swim Club Manager:

Downs Farm Swim Club is seeking a full-time pool manager for the 2020 summer season. The pool manager will be responsible for managing and supervising all aspects of the pool service operation with regards to daily operational management of lifeguards, water quality, safety and rule enforcement. The manager is responsible for pre-season preparation, scheduling of guards, all while attending to member requests.  Qualifications must have 1 year of pool management experience competitive salary and wages offered. Assistant Swim Club Manager

Head Swim Coach 

Head Swim Coach 2020 Summer Swim Season Competitive Salary Downs Farm Swim Club is currently seeking energetic, friendly and experienced individual to join our 2020 Coaching Staff. The Downs Farm Dolphin Swim Team is a member of the Tri County Swimming League and is a summer recreational swim team that operates from late May through early August. The team has approximately 80 members, ranging in abilities from rookies to seasoned veterans. Requirements • Competitive swimming background with solid knowledge of, and ability to teach competitive strokes, starts and turns. • Must have Lifeguard CPR Certification • Previous summer league coaching experience is required, preferably at least two to three seasons • Professional manner and appearance required at all times • Must be able to use Team Unify to manage meet entries, and be proficient in writing and sending out team updates Responsibilities • Meet with Aquatic Chairperson(s) to collaborate on the needs of the team. • Attend Tri-County mandatory coaches’ meetings. • Schedule, supervise and instruct swimmers during practice from the day after Memorial Day until Tri-County Championship (3 hours per day, Monday to Friday and camp practice 1 hour in the evening Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). • Promote good sportsmanship, enthusiasm, team spirit and attend team functions • Use Team Unify to prepare meet entries, sheets and cards for all meets o 5 A-Meets-Saturday mornings o 4 B-Meets-Wednesday evenings o 1 Time Trial Meet o 1 Cherry Bowl Meet o 1 Tri-County Meet • Post results of meets, best times, qualifiers and progress of each swimmer by Monday. • Supervise assistant coach and assign them duties, • Actively participate in recruiting new swim team members. • Organize and supervise “Learn to Swim” (LTS) for 4 weeks in June/July. • Train LTS instructors in teaching methods. • Meet with parents upon request to discuss their child’s progress. • Communicate with the team members and parents by email and meetings To apply, please email a letter of interest to kathleenfederline@gmail.com detailing relevant experience and how you are prepared to fulfill the responsibilities of the Head Coach Position.
