Head Coach Ryan Fish
Ryan has been the Head Coach with Willowdale for 9 seasons and has experience coaching all levels of competitive swimming. He has coached at Burlington County College for the Jersey Devil Rays swim team. He also coached the Rancocas Valley Regional High School Girls Swim Team in 2011. Ryan was a competitive swimmer for Westwood Swim Club from ages 4-18 and a 4 year varsity swimmer at Rancocas Valley where he specialized in the breast stroke and individual medley. After graduating high school Ryan attended Wesley College, Dover DE and played 4 years of NCAA soccer and tennis. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is currently a health and physical education teacher as well as a USA Swimming coach. He enjoys spending free time with his wife Alyssa, friends and his awesome dog Toby.
Assistant Coach Liz Spanfelner
Liz has always been a passionate swimmer. She grew up swimming at Jersey Wahoos and went on to swim competitively at The College of New Jersey. Coach Liz has coached within the Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association, the Suburban Swim League, and Tri-County. Currently coach Liz is coaching year round with the MLY Phoenix. She holds bachelors degrees in early childhood education and english literature and is pursuing her masters in education. Outside of the pool Coach Liz is in the classroom. She has been a first grade teacher in Hammonton Nj. for the past six years. Coach Liz is looking forward to a great summer!
