Check the family folders during practice for your swim meet riboons and speeding tickets (best time notifications)! We have lots of ribbons in the folders for pickup.
Calling all parents who like to swim. If you are interested in swimming in the parent relay(s) that take place alongside the coaches' relays after the breaststroke events, please email [email protected] with your interest and which meets you would like to swim and any strokes that you are willing to swim. We generally swim freestyle relays, with each parent swimming one length of the pool freestyle. If we have enough interest and people, we occasionally try to put toghether a medley relay.
Thank you Sea Dragon parents for helping us with Time Trials yesterday! Our first meet is next Saturday, June 12. Most positions are filled, so thank you for those who have already signed up. Hi CPSD Families, Some parents have emailed me asking how to sign-up for time trials, so here are some instructions on how to do so! 1. Log into our website at caryparkswimteam.com. 2. Go to the Upcoming Events on the Home page and click on Edit Commitment for the June 5th Time Trials. 3. Hi Families, the updated swimmer numbers for meets (Numbers you write on your child's arm in Sharpie) are posted on the Time Trials Event page. We found we were missing a few kids on the previous list. I have also posted a link to them on the swim meet schedule page. And will post them on the bullitin board at the pool.
Our new Volunteers team is in place and Time Trials (June 5) and our first meet (June 12) are available for signup. Other meets and volunteer opportunities to follow shortly.
