Hi! My name is Brooke Presny. I’ve swam on the Mazo Barracudas since I was 5 and this will be my 4th summer coaching for the Cudas. I swam competitively year-round throughout middle and high school on the Lodi-Heights High School team and Madison Aquatic Club. I graduated from Wisconsin Heights in 2020 and I currently go to school at UW- La Crosse where I am on the Swimming/Diving Team and majoring in biology on the Pre-Physician Assistant track. My favorite strokes to swim are butterfly and freestyle. I’m super excited to be coaching again this summer and can't wait to make it a fun summer! My advice is work hard, have fun, and just keep swimming!

Hi, my name is Kara Loy! I grew up here in Mazomanie where I attended school at Wisconsin Heights.  I now am attending college at Carroll University where my major is animal behavior, and my minor is coaching!  I swam with the Cudas for 7 yeras, and the last 3 years I also swam in high school with the Lodi-Heights Co-Op.  I completed two swim seasons at Carroll, and I hold a record for the 800 Freestyle Relay! My favorite stroke to swim is freestyle, and the reason I love coaching is helpig people accomplish their swim goals.  My biggest piece of advice is if you think it's not hard then it's not worth doing, and swimming is VERY hard - so keep it up, great things will happen for thos who put in the effort every day.  I look forward to seeing everyone again this summer!

Hello! I am Karsten Flogel and I was born and raised here in Mazomanie.  I swam for the Barracudas for 11 years, and the Sauk Prairie Co-op for 4 years.  My favorite strokes are breaststroke and butterfly.  I enjoy coaching because I find the rush from seeing somebody I help succeed is just as, if not more, thrilling as doing it myself.  A piece of advice that I would like to share with everyone is that caring about becoming a better swimmer is the first step to a successful swimming career.

Hello, My name is Kiley Beuthin. I was born in Lacrosse and moved to Mazo when I was 4. I am now in the class of 2022 at Wisconsin Heights High School. I started to swim for the Mazo Cudas when I was 9 and I joined the Lodi/Heights High School co-op Swim team as a Freshman. My favorite stroke is either Backstroke and Freestyle. I am excited to share my knowledge and excitement with this year's Cudas! My piece of advice is something my coaches always tell me, "Mind over matter." Go Cudas!
