Junior Olympics Overview:

  • The USA Water Polo Junior Olympics Championship (JOs) is the largest water polo tournament in the US

  • 2022 JO will consist of three sessions.  Session 1 and 2 will be in Northern California.  Session 3 will be in the Dallas area.

  • We will attend Session 3 in Dallas.

  • We will depart for Dallas on July 27th.

  • Session 3 does not require participation in the Southwest Zone JO Qualifier Tournament.

  • To be eligible to compete, all athletes must have USAWP Gold level membership. If your child wants to play in JO’s, please make sure to sign up on USAWP for 2022 Gold membership. Profiles must complete age verification, upload a photo and sign COVID-19 waiver

  • Our objectives are to provide developmental experience for our athletes, as well as to play at the national level.  JOs is a great way to build team camaraderie and skills.

Junior Olympics Summer Training: Participation in the JO training program is necessary for eligibility to compete at JO's. 

  • Location: Clear Springs High School

  • Dates: May 10 – July 26

  • Monday to Thursday

  • 3 game days in Alvin

  • Participate at state level tournaments in preparation of Junior Olympics

  • We will attend Session 3 in Dallas.

  • We will depart for Dallas on July 27th.

Junior Olympics Cost:

  • JO training fee: $375, amount will be broken into 3 payments of $125. Billed on the first of the month. Athletes must participate in JO training to be eligible for the Junior Olympics trip 

  • JO entry fee: $125. Covers cost to enter team in the tournament

  • JO trip fee: $275. Cover coaches’ rooms, per diem, fuel, miscellaneous team costs.
