Throughout the season, Stroke and Turn officials work very hard to officiate a fair meet for both teams.  If your swimmer is disqualified (DQ'd) during an event, the Stroke and Turn judge will complete a form at the time that documents why the swimmer was DQ'd.

This is an important job that allows the meets to run smoothly and allow the swimmers to improve.  A DQ slip is an opportunity to fix a mistake and allow all the athletes to get better and realize what they need to work on.

The Dry Diggins Dolphins are always looking for parents that are willing and able to take on the responsibility of stroke and turn judges throughout the season.  If this is something that seems interesting to you please contact our volunteer coordinator and sign up for the season.

Thank you.
