Michael Hansen
Head Coach
Coach Michael has been a part of the gator’s family since he was six years old. Swimming throughout his whole life on various different teams, coach Michael is back again to coach his sixth year on the Granite Bay Gators. Michael’s experience with coaching includes rec swimming, year round, and high school. . Michael is thrilled to be back this year and hopes to bring his experiences and knowledge to the team and is excited for everyone to have a great summer!
A message from Coach Michael:
I’m excited to help out with the Gators this season. I’ve been with the team ever since we joined the SSL way back when. I love the sport of swimming and everything that comes with it. This team has been a huge part of my life and I’m ready to give back to the Gators and the community. I hope to be a part of everyone’s experience with this team and be an inspiration to all the swimmers. I cannot wait to work with everyone this summer!
Grace Hansen

Hello! My name is Grace Hansen and I have been on the Granite Bay Gators swim team since I was five. I have been coaching since I was fourteen and have loved it ever since. I have also been involved with swim lessons at Steve Wallen Swim school. I have also coached year-round club teams before too! My favorite part about coaching is watching the kids progress in their skills and be proud in their achievements!

Hi my name is Claire Tong! I have been swimming for the Gators since I was five years old and this is my third year coaching. I love to swim and I hope to inspire everyone to fall in love with this sport too! The Gators has been a great positive community for most of my life and I hope to give back to it as much a possible. I am a supper excited for this season!

Hi I'm coach Allie! I am currently a junior at Granite Bay High School and have been swimming for 8 years. I'm a coach for water polo as well as swim and I can't wait to share all that I know with the kids! I'm so excited for this season and I can't wait to see all the kids swim fast and have fun!
Bella Montez
Hi I’m Coach Bella, and I am very excited to be working with you and your kids for the Gators 2023 season! I am graduating this year from Granite Bay High School and have been swimming since I was 5 years old. This is my second year coaching for Gators, and I am so glad to be a part of this team. I love being in the water and communicating with kids, and I am looking forward to sharing all my knowledge with the little ones as well as spreading fun and cheer around the pool deck!

Hi, Im coach Heidi! I'll be a senior at Granite Bay High School next year and I swim and play water polo. I have been swimming on Gators since I was 5 and I'm so excited to coach this summer! I hope to make this season the best experience possible and use my swimming background to help teach the sport to all the little ones. I'm looking forward to a great sumer!

Hello, I'm coach Brody! I have been swimming ever since I was a 7-8 on the Gators, and I've loved it ever since. My passion is to help kids learn to love it as I have, but have fun doing it as well. I'm excited to be coaching for another year with the Gators and am looking forward to a great season!

Hello! My name is coach Jacque! I started out on gators as a 7-8 then continued swim through Granite Bay High School. I've learned a lot through my years as both a swimmer and coach and now I get to be part of the coaching staff for a second year! Can't wait for another exciting year with the Gators!

Hi everyone I'm coach Luke! I have been swimming ever since I was a kid and am back for my second year of coaching. I really enjoy anything that has to do with water like scuba diving, swimming, and surfing. Going into my junior year of high school I am excited to bring all my swimming and coaching knowledge to the Gator's swim team!

Hey there I am Sophia Haley, and I have a passion for helping others when they need me the most. I have been swimming since I was 6 and am hoping to swim after high school.
