Wedsenday, March 1 - Friday March 31, 2023

The 2023 Blackhawk Country Club Spring Clinic is just around the corner and the coaching staff and HOX board are excited to get the 2023 season started! The Spring Clnic is a great way for our returning swimmers to get their technique in form before the season starts in April and for new swimmers to the team to learn new skills in the water and for them and their families to make new friends and become part of the HOX family. GO HOX!

The 2023 BCC Spring Swim Clinic is a BCC program run by Aquatics Director & HOX Head Swim Coach Sean Quackenbush and the amazing group of assistant coaches, who together have over 140 years of coaching experience. The Spring Clinic is a five-week program that will start on March 1st and end on March 31st. Spring Clinics is ideal for "swim-team-ready" and returning rec team swimmers with a focus on technique and to help swimmers get back into the "swim of things" before summer.  The coaches would like to encourage all families to participate in the Spring Clinic as this program will provide the technical foundation for the swimmers to build upon throughout the season. Each week will focus on a different swim stroke and will also cover:  drill progression, explosion off the walls, underwater dolphin kicks, proper body position, effective pull to create maximum propulsion, breathing tips, proper stroke timing, starts, turns, finishes, race strategy, etc.  The final week is a review. Members will have the option to select either 4 or 2 days per week.
