Del Amigo is a community based swimming pool where all members are owners, even the board members. We are so proud to be a part of the Danville/Alamo community. We have 2 member work days per year, one for the opening of the pool in the Spring, and one at the end of the regular season in the Fall. All members are expected to work these two work days, or pay a missed work day fee of $50.00.
 
Del Amigo has many programs to offer you and your family. There is a wonderful community of adult swimmers that lap swim every morning at 6-8am. We have our award winning swim team (the Dolphins) with a magnificent coach guiding our young swimmers. For the younger swimmers we have Dynamite Dolphins (age’s 4-6 year old) and the Guppy Program (2-3 1/2 year old) to help future swimmers down the lanes. Del Amigo also offers swim lessons for all ages with fabulous swim instructors through our Learn To Swim program. It is always best to take swim lessons in the pool your child is most familiar.
 
When asked what makes our pool stand out, it is the families that are part of the community and our good old fashion love for summer time. Come down and play basketball with your children, hang out on the grass and throw a ball, enjoy the kiddie pool with your 6 and under child or lounge with other families as your child learns all the tricks on our diving board.
 
2023 New Member Fees:
- $400 stock deposit 
- $50 key deposit  
- $400 administration fee
- $1,300 2023 dues
Total Due to DAPA- $2,150.00
 

*Missed workday fees (2 mandatory workdays every year), $50 per workday. If you missed a 2022 workday, this fee has been added to your 2023 member dues
 
All pool policy, facility hours and rules are on our Web Site with much more information:  Lifeguard hours, swim lessons, swim team, reserving the facility for parties. The pool is open YEAR ROUND (*new to 2022*). During the winter months the pool is open from 6AM to 7PM. 
 
Membership with Del Amigo does not guarantee your child a spot on the Swim Team. Swim Team registration begins in January for returning swimmers, and then the swim team adds new swimmers by what age group needs to be filled first. Length of Del Amigo Membership is always taken into consideration when filling in new spots. To add your child to the Del Amigo Swim Team waitlist pls contact Krissy Poole at [email protected].
