Time Trials

Time Trials is an intra-squad meet to establish base times for each swimmer in each event.  It also serves as a warm up meet, giving swimmers and families a bit of experience before the start of the season.

Dual Meets

Walnut Creek All City Meet

The Walnut Creek All-City Meet is a two-day meet held the last weekend in June. The 2022 City Meet will be held on June 25th and 26th at Heather Farm Aquatic Center.  All of the recreational teams in the city of Walnut Creek attend this exciting meet.  Each swimmer may choose three individual events. Coaches will choose relay teams. Each team is assigned a grassy area to pitch tents and umbrellas.  City Meet tends to be a scorcher—bring lots of ice, water and shade!

Conference Meet

Conference is a two-day championship meet held at the end of July for all of the teams in the Walnut Creek Swim Conference. The 2022 WCSC Championship Meet will be held on July 23rd and 24th at the Heather Farm Aquatic Center. All seven teams in the Walnut Creek Swim Conference participate in this meet: Indian Valley, Larkey, Rudgear Estates, Walnut Heights, Woodlands, Walnut Heights, and Dewing Park.  To be eligible for this meet, swimmers must have swum in at least two dual meets, one of which must be a dual meet against a conference team. Each child swims in two individual events. There are preliminary swims and, for those who qualify, finals in the afternoon. For most swimmers this is their final meet of the season, what they are working towards all summer. Expect fast swims and lots of team spirit.

County Meet

The Contra Costa County Championship Meet (referred to as “County”) is another two day meet held in late July or early August. The 2022 County Meet will be held on July 30th and 31st at Acalanes High School.  To qualify for County, a swimmer must meet the time standards announced each year by Lafayette Moraga Youth Association swim club.  It is an honor to make County, a meet that is recognized as producing some of the fastest recreational level swims in the nation!  Participation in the meet is optional.

County meet qualifying times can be found here.

Invitational Meets

An invitational meet is a meet that swimmers attend by invitation of the coaches only.  Participation is optional. Participants must pay their own entrance fees and families are expected to help work at the meet. We currently do not have any plans to attend any invitational swim meets in the 2022 swim season.
