Goals Setting

Every season we ask our swimmers to set goals in order to best help each swimmer with his/her needs. We will email or hand out group-specific goal sheets at the beginning of each swimming, and hold a goals meeting with each individual to review their goals.

We ask that swimmers write SMART goals so they have a clear idea of what they want to work and how to accomplish their goals. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely.

Older and more competitive athletes often make goals to drop time. To find you/your swimmer’s best times go here to search for best times.

To find motivational times and time standards see the Time Standards tab located under Parents/Swimmers.
