The Maple Lawn Swim Club is a part of the Division III of Central Maryland Swimming League, one of the largest summer swim leagues in the country.

Maple Lawn residents 18 and under are welcome to participate. Children must be able to swim the length of the pool in deep water to participate in practice and complete in meets . All swimmers, regardless of skill level, will compete.

The season lasts approximately 8 weeks from the Tuesday after Memorial Day (first practice) to the last weekend in July. The team provides a rewarding swim team experience for swimmers and their families. Practices are conveniently offered twice a day, in the mornings (Monday through Friday) and in the evenings (Monday through Thursday). Swimmers are expected to attend at least four practices per week and are welcome to attend more. Friday evenings are reserved for pep rallies.

Swim meets are held each Saturday from mid-June through the end of July. Swimmers are asked to commit to swimming in at least two meets.

Like all summer sports, we understand families and kids already have summer plans but we aim to be flexible- if you miss a meet or practice its okay, just be prepared to race when you return.
