The Neptunes are a competitive swim team and a member of the Tri-State Swim Conference. The Neptunes compete against other swim teams from Branson, Carthage, Claremore, OK, Joplin, Lamar, Monett, Parsons, KS, Pittsburg, KS, Siloam Springs, AR, Springfield & Webb City. Regular season practices are held at the Walton Aquatic Center in Nevada beginning in late May running through early August. Preseason practices begin in late April at the Osage Prairie YMCA.

Nevada Neptunes are a competitive, summer swim team, but "competitive" seems misleading. The coaches structure practices to improve technique and physical fitness. The "competitive" part is more about swimmers besting their own times, rather than beating the guy in the next lane. "Best Time" iron-ons are awarded at almost every meet to swimmers besting their previous fastest times. However, beating the guy in the next lane is always fun, too.

The Neptunes swim team is for youth ages 5 to 18.

We encourage prospective swimmers to contact us with questions and are looking forward to a great 2017 season. Please click on the Current News and Meet Schedule section of the website for the latest information.
