Head Coach Shane "Lefty" Morrison

MAST is pleased to have Coach Lefty as our head coach again! He brings over 20 years of overall coaching experience to the team. In his 11th year as coach for MAST, his passion remains to bring enthusiasm and love to the sport that so many people in the area enjoy. In the offseason, he is also the head coach for both the boys and girls team at Metamora High School. Most of his high school swimmers started out as MAST swimmers; he continues to build a solid program and was recently named Coach of the Year for the 2nd year in a row! His philosophy as a summer coach is to make kids love swimming and to have fun doing it. Welcome back, Lefty!

Emmie Brockhouse

I am excited to be joining the MAST coaching staff for my second year as an assistant coach. I am a Junior at Illinois State University studying Interior Design and Business. My passion for swimming started when I was five years old as I joined MAST with Lefty as my coach. I was a competitive swimmer for fifteen years, a 4-year varsity swimmer at MTHS, a 4-year state qualifier, and awarded team captain as well as Most Valuable Swimmer. While attending ISU, I have continued my love of swimming by teaching private swim lessons and coaching with Four Seasons Health Club. I will bring a positive attitude to the pool, encourage young swimmers to develop goal-setting techniques, and, most importantly, teach swimmers to be proud of themselves and celebrate their swimming accomplishments.

Keaton Porch

Hey, I'm Keaton Porch, a long-time member of the Metamora Area Swim Team and now a coach. I am going into my sophomore year of college attending Truman State University majoring in Physics and planning on going into engineering. I have swum on the MAST team since I was 9yrs old and swam during all four years of high school during Metamora's first Conference and Sectional wins, with my favorite stroke being breaststroke. I have most likely seen many of you throughout Metamora and am excited to help and coach now.

Molli Baumann

I am Molli Baumann. I am a recent graduate from MTHS where I swam all four years and was a captain my senior year. In addition to swimming in high school, I played basketball, ran track, and worked a part-time job. I have worked the past three years at Metamora grade school where I was a latchkey teacher working before and after school to help k-5 kids. I have also swum for MAST for 7 years and DOCS for 2. I will be attending St. Ambrose University in the fall where I plan to major in elementary education!
