2023-2024 Season Registration
Welcome to the Miami Rowing Club Electronic Registration platform for Season 2023-2024!
We are pleased to offer electronic payment processing and registration.
The process is simple for both new and returning members. Once registered, you can access your private account and profile, enabling you to see invoices easily, sign up for volunteer jobs, manage your login, contact information, and more.
Waivers
** ALL ROWERS MUST SUBMIT MANDATORY WAIVERS BEFORE THE START OF THE SEASON
We will send the links to complete the waivers for the 2023-2024 season. All waivers are mandatory to participate in any races during the Season.
Programs and Schedules
We offer a variety of rowing programs for boys and girls, 6th to 12th grade, as follows:
Middle School Program (2x or 4x weekly) schedule:
Option 1: Tuesdays and Thursdays. 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm (2 days per week)
Option 2: Mondays and Wednesdays. 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm (2 days per week)
Option 3: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (4 days per week)
High School (Novice & Varsity) Program schedule:
Monday to Friday: 4:30 pm -7:00 pm and Saturdays 7:00 am to 10:00 am
The season begins in the fall and ends in April with the States Championships. (8 months)
Tuition & Fees
Tuition will not be pro-rated. Tuition does not include regatta fees which are event-dependent and shared before each regatta.
Mandatory Equipment Fund Contribution (ALL PROGRAMS): $300.00 due upon registration
(one-time tax-deductible non-refundable payment)
Monthly Tuition (8 months- SEP, OCT, NOV, DEC, JAN, FEB, MAR, APR)
Middle School 2X per week------------------------------ $225.00 monthly
Middle School 4x per week--------------------------------$350.00 monthly
Novice Boys and Girls --------------------------------------$350.00 monthly
Varsity Boys and Girls --------------------------------------$350.00 monthly
Varsity Boys and Girls Only -------------------------------$150.00 (only one time payment for August)
*PLEASE NOTE: The regular season ends with Sweep State Championship in April. In May, we will collect additional Tuition Fees for training and participation at the US Rowing Regional Championships and an additional Tuition Fee for the boats that qualified for the US ROWING Youth National Championship.
SIBLING DISCOUNT:
10% sibling discount applies only for the Tuition, NOT Equipment Fund
Payment Schedule
All payments received after the due date (5th day of the month) will be subject to a $25 late payment fee. No athlete will be allowed to practice after the 5th of the month until all dues are paid.
We urge families to register their credit card (VISA/MC) for Auto Pay in the system. WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS.
REFUNDS AND WITHDRAWALS
- We regret that we cannot offer refunds for withdrawals during the Season. The only exception is due to severe illness or injury and upon immediate written notification (within 48 hours) to [email protected] and a medical report.
- Equipment Fund ($300.00) is not refundable under any circumstance. In the case of withdrawal from the program, tuition will be refunded according to the athlete’s attendance, along with a $25.00 administrative fee.
- ALL WITHDRAWAL REQUESTS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING VIA EMAIL TO: HEAD COACH CESAR HERRERA [email protected].
VOLUNTEER HOURS:
Please note that every family must contribute at least 20 volunteer hours per season or pay a $300 fee instead of volunteering.
Please note that MIR (Miami International Regatta) volunteer hours are additional to the 20 hours requested per family.
