The '22-23 Winter Water Polo Program is for boys & girls age 8-18.  No prior experience necessary.
 
Participation in all practice sessions
and competitions is encouraged.

Informational Meeting – Sunday October 23, 4:30-5:00pm Miwok Aquatic Center on the IVC Campus.  Parents & Players are encouraged to attend, however, attendance is not required.

IVC Parking: While the College of Marin (COM) is in session, parking permits are required Mondays through Saturdays.  Please follow the COM posted signs for specific directions in purchasing a parking permit.

Program Fees:

The fees listed below (both Full/Limited Participation) do not include membership to USA Water Polo (USA WP). Membership to USA WP as a member of the Marin Water Polo Club for the duration of the winter program is required prior to registering.  See below regarding membership to USA WP. 

The fees listed below (both Full/Limited Participation) do not include Tournament Fees.  Tournament fees will be assessed on a tournament by tournament basis and invoiced through the website to each players account.  Tournament announcements will include participation fee information.

Full Participation

  • 10u - $395

Limited Participation (does not apply to 10u athletes)

Intended for individuals playing in another winter sport.  Up to 3 water polo &/or swim conditioning practices per week.  Does not include dry-land/weight practices.  A practice day with swim conditioning and water polo counts for 2 practices.  No roll-over practice sessions - 3 per week.  Pick the days/times that work with your schedule.

Participation in tournaments will be offered first to those signed up for the Full Participation and then to those signed up for the Limited Participation.

If within the last 12 months you have played for a different water polo club than Marin Water Polo, a meeting needs to be scheduled with program Director Andrew Morris ([email protected]) to discuss joining the Marin Club team.  Register/pay through the website for the upcoming season and then schedule the meeting via email.  Registration will be “pending” until after the meeting.

USA Water Polo Membership

Annual (calendar year, November 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023) membership to USA Water Polo membership costs vary depending on level of membership.  This membership allows for participation in practice and competitions.

To register with USA Water Polo, please log onto usawaterpolo.com.

Click on ‘Join Now’ and follow the directions to become a member.  When prompted for club or zone information, please supply the following information:

Club – Marin Water Polo Club - Club #473, Zone – Pacific Zone - Zone #6

Membership to USA Water Polo will be checked at the first practice attended.  Please be prepared to show proof of membership.  Registrations will only be processed for those who have membership to USA Water Polo for the duration of the winter program.

Full refunds are allowed up to November 18.  After November 18 there are no refunds.
