Enjoy an evening of breathtaking artistic swimming performance while trying out local food and drinks. These athletes range from 6 to 18 who have been working very hard throughout the season. Some went from not knowing anything about artistic swimming to competing for the first time. Some athletes competed at the National and Junior Olympics levels during this season. But one thing they all have in common: they DARE TO DREAM.

Come enjoy a fun performance and learn about artistic swimming.

What is Artistic Swimming?

Artistic Swimming is a unique sport that brings together the athleticism of swimming and water polo, the acrobatic marvel of gymnastics, and the grace and creativity of dance. The sport involves several events, including solos, duets, teams (of 8) and combos (of 10) that feature original choreography designed to highly the technical ability, athletic fitness and strength, and imaginativeness of each athlete. Grounded fundamentally in the principles of teamwork, our athletes learn how to dedicate themselves to a team and work together in and out of the pool.

Our Merionettes athletes work hard and play hard. Over the last 10 years along, we have:

• Qualified to compete in Junior Olympics and U.S. Nationals competitions
• Been selected for National Team trials 
• Regional Gold Medalists 16-17 Age Group
• Regional Gold Medalists 18-19 Age Group
• 2014 Age Group National Finalists in 18-19 Trio
• 2021 Junior Olympic National Finalists in 18-19 Tech Team
• 2022 Cactus Classic 16-17 Tech Team Champions
