The Granbury SEALS Swim Team is a private, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide a wholesome environment in which swimmers of all ages may learn and improve the basic fundamentals of competitive swimming. We are affiliated with the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF), following their rules and guidelines for swim meets.

In order to be a Seal, you must be able to swim 25 yards (length of pool) unassisted. This will be verified during tryouts.

Pups are lessons for those who do not qualify to be a Seal. These are group lessons and children must be able to participate in a group setting and be able to take turns.

At the coaches discretion, your child might be considered to be an in-betweener if, during tryouts, the coach thinks that they are very close to being a Seal. In-betweeners practice at the same time as Seals but in the outtdoor pool at the Y.
