STSA June 2019 Newsletter
 

Join us this summer for learn to swim lessons, swim team training or aquatic therapy.  Here is a recap of the past few months and a preview of what's coming for the summer!

April 15-18 – Carifta was held in Barbados this year.  Max Wilson won FIVE gold medals, two silver medals and one bronze medal placing the team in 10th overall.  Many swimmers had personal best times.  Way to go Stingrays!


May 18-19 - The VI National Championships were held in St. Croix.  The team brought their biggest team ever with 21 swimmers participating.  Please see Meetmobile to see the individual scores under VISF Long Course 2019. 

May 28 – Beach-to-Beach Ocean Swim in St. John. STSA had many swimmers participate and they took home several medals in the 2 mile, the 3 mile and the relay competitions!

June 2 – STSA hosted a community pool party with games, mini-lessons and delicious food thanks to Dr. Ellett and Dr. Hall!

 


June 26-July 3 – CCCAN Championship in Barbados! STSA has 9 swimmers so far who have

qualified to be on this National Team.


July 18-26 – World Championship – South Korea


Aug. 21-28 World Junior Championship – Budapest, Hungary. 

What an exciting summer!! Congratulations to all the STSA swimmers who will be representing

the Virgin Islands this summer.
