Thunder Masters - Fall 2016

Eligibility:  Athletes need to be 18+ in age and out of high school.  All practices are coed.

Start Date/End Date:  Wednesday, September 14th – Wednesday, November 2nd

Practice Location:  Lewisville ISD Westside Aquatic Center, 1750 Duncan Lane, Lewisville, TX

Practice Days & Times: Wednesdays, 7:15 – 9:00 pm All practices will be supervised and coached by a Thunder Water Polo coach.  The practices will be a mix of conditioning, passing/shooting skills, and lots of team scrimmaging.  NOTE:  There will be additional practices on Sundays in Southlake.  These practices will be announced 1-2 weeks prior to the extra practice opportunity.

Fall League Games:  Thunder Masters will compete in three Sunday Game Days against other Dallas Masters and Thunder 18U Athletes.  All athletes will automatically be placed on the team, and the team will play at least two games each Game Day.  If we get enough female masters players, Thunder Masters will enter a separate Thunder Women’s Masters team (playing only female teams). The Fall League Game Days are included in Fall Season Dues.

  • Game Day #1:  Sunday, October 16th at the Southlake-Carroll ISD Aquatic Center
  • Game Day #2:  Sunday, October 30th at the Denton ISD Natatorium

Weekend Tournaments:  For the weekend tournaments, there will be additional tournament entry fees, travel costs, USA Water Polo membership fees, etc.  Separate emails for each “weekend tournament” will be sent to all athletes with deadlines to commit, costs, etc.

  • November 5-6:  Dallas Fall Invite, Southlake-Carroll ISD Aquatic Center

Thunder Masters – Fall Program Dues:  The Thunder Masters fee will be $75 per athlete, which will include all Wednesday practices, all Sunday practices, and all Fall League Game Days.  All Thunder Masters athletes need to register online/create an account with Thunder Water Polo (one time only process) and then sign-up for the Masters Spring Program (see links below).
