WCA Fall Swim Show 2022

"Cinema Magic"

Sept 1-4, Clarke Memorial Swim Center at Heather Farm

Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm each night

Over 100 athletes, coaches, and parent volunteers collaborate each year to put on the Walnut Creek Aquanut Fall Synchronized Swimming Show, which takes place over Labor Day weekend. This year will mark the 53rd anniversary of this iconic show that showcases artistic (synchronized) swimming in a theatrical format complete with lights, props, a monumental 3-D stage, and glittering costumes. The show features a Jumbo screen as a backdrop to enhance the special effects as well as provide opportunities to feature sponsorship and advertising messages. The show is created over a two month period leading up to Labor Day. Head Coach Kim Probst and Olga Kouznetsova choreograph and customize routines based on highlights from the competitive season. The athletes train four hours a day and more to perfect their routines. In addition, 100's of parent volunteer hours are spent building sets and working on intricate costumes to fit the "Cinema Magic" theme!

The Fall Show will run Thursday through Sunday Labor Day weekend September 1-4. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the performance begins at 8:00 pm. Food and refreshments are available for purchase at a general snack bar and there will be a beer and wine bar. Plus, you can purchase raffle tickets at the event to win fabulous prizes!
