Winter Training - 2023 Information 

Off-Season Conditioning is important. It doesn't take long to get out of shape. (How long does it take to get out of shape?  Read this article to find out.) But we offer Extended Distance Training and Winter Conditioning to help during your off-season. Join us for some fun and fitness.

Distance Training

2023 - November 3rd- November 20th

Athletes will continue to work on running fundamentals and building endurance

Monday and Friday evenings at Oak Ridge Park

  • 4:00-5:00 PM for ages 10-15

  • Additional practice for athletes registered for USATF-NJ State meet and/or Champs Sports Regionals from 5:00-6:30 pm on the track on Wednesday's.

Winter Conditioning

2023 - November 27th - December 22nd

 

2023 - January 5th - Febuary 26th

 

Stay in shape over the winter and prepare for your upcoming track and field season by working with Flyers coaches and personal trainers. Athletes will do core work, cardiovascular drills, plyometrics, and strength work.  Training will be focused specific to event preferences.

 

Monday and Friday evenings at the main Branch, 220 Clark Street, Westfield

  • 5:30-6:15 PM for ages 7-10

  • 6:20-7:20 PM for ages 11-15
