Senior Group

Senior Group Coach:

The group goal is to increase ability and speed at the national level. Minimum age for entry into this group is 12 (girls) or 13 (boys). Athletes entering the Senior Group must display a strong desire to perform at the highest level they are capable of. Training is geared towards individual talents, although a strong aerobic endurance factor is present. They have goals that relate to progressing through the USA Swimming levels, moving from Sectional based competitions to Junior and Senior National levels meets. Swimmers are committed to the training required to reach their goals and those goals are discussed throughout the season, and adjusted as needed. The goal for this group is the highest-level possible that a swimmers talent and desire will allow. We will teach the student-athlete time management and goal setting skills applicable for the pool and life. Ownership plays a key role in how swimmers commit to training, and competition.
