Faith Brazil, Joey Purdy set new team records at Los Angeles Invitational

The BCH National Group sent 18 swimmers to the prestigious Los Angeles Invitation this past weekend at the University of Southern California Uytengsu Swim Center. The swimmers did a great job competing with national and international level competition including strong squads from USC, CAL, Stanford, University of Arizona and Asu. Both Faith Brazil and Joey Purdy highlighted the comptetion with new BCH team records in breaststroke. Faith broke both the 100(1:13.44) and 200(2:38.45) meter records formerly held by Mallory Harris who went on to swim at BYU. Joey set his record in the 200 breast (2:21.37) formerly held by Robert Hommel who went on to swim at Stanford.
