Amy Okada started swimming competitively at age 9 and joined the Royal Swim Team at age 13. She represented Royal throughout the national stage from 2012-2021.
She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Food Studies while receiving a 4 year scholarship to swim at UCLA. After graduating UCLA, she attended Loughborough University in England where she earned her Masters degree while continuing her swimming profession. She currently attends Cal-State Los Angeles to become a Registered Sports Dietician. She hopes to be a mentor to the swimmers by using her experience to inspire them to achieve their goals. Her hobbies include going to farmers markets, surf racing, and exploring new restaurants and cafes.
