Mission Statement: The mission of SOCAL Aquatics is to create a safe and supportive environment that will enable every athlete to reach their potential; both in swimming and in life.

SOCAL Masters swimming welcomes anyone 18 years of age or older to enjoy structured swim workouts with our team.  We are a non-competitive group that swims for fun, fitness and the maintenance of a healthy lifestyle.  The group dynamic offered at SOCAL Masters works to promote individual accountability, helping each swimmer attend practice on a regular basis.  No prior experience with competitive swimming is necessary, however this is not a learn-to-swim program.  You must be able to at least swim laps of freestyle comfortably.  Most of our members are former competitive swimmers having competed in the high school or college level.

Practices are offered five days a week, Monday - Friday5:30am - 7:00am at Tustin High School.   The cost for our program is $60/month.  There is no drop-in option. Practices from the end of August - May are Short Course, while June - July are Long Course.  All Masters swimmers have access to hot showers and a locker room after practice.

Note:  If you are a currently registered USMS swimmer in town on business/vacation and are looking for a workout, please email Coach Molly ([email protected]) to join the group.

How To Join:

Step One:  Show Up!  Check the "Group Calendar" on the SOCAL Aquatics website to double check practice time and location, and head over to the pool.  You will need a swim suit, towel and the following gear:  kickboard, pull buoy, paddles, fins, goggles, and a water bottle.  We recommend Speedo swim equipment, which can be purchased at Competitive Aquatic Supplies in Irvine.  Once on deck, introduce yourself to Coach Molly and go for a free swim to try it out.

Step Two:   If you've made it this far congratulations!  You're now ready to become an official SOCAL Masters swimmer.  A lifetime of productive, early mornings await you.  Please take a moment to sign up for SOCAL Masters HERE.  You will also need to register with the US Masters Association HERE

Step Three:  Wake up, swim, repeat!  Once you've signed up and paid for both SOCAL Aquatics and US Masters Swimming, you're a member of the group and can start attending regularly scheduled workouts.  See you on deck!
