From Coach Chantal: Pre-Seniors: A great first meet for all Pre-Senior swimmers! Huge drops as they got to reflect their previous best times from a year ago and see where they are now at the start of this season! Everyone did well in their meet order of warming up, talking to coach, racing, warming down and coach review. A lot of thoughtful responses on their skill and race strategies. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered at this packed meet of 900 swimmers! And to help with its set...

Spring Age Group Champs: Pre-Seniors arrived prepared to dominate in their respective events! Most of the swimmers returned to finals for all events and placed! It was electric to see the swimmers attack both the prelims and the finals sessions. The 12 year old Pre-Seniors broke team relay records alongside their Age Group teammates in all events. Topher achieved his first and second Sectionals cut in the Breaststroke events. The relay only Pre-Seniors were focused on scoring for the team and had so much fun in their relays, energizing one...

Cheers to our swimmers for giving their best effort during adverse weather conditions, and to our parents for their warmth and support. From Coach Chantal: Pre-Seniors: Overall amazing races despite the precipitous weather on the first two days of the meet. Each day the swimmers got more excited and ready to swim fast. Everyone arrived prepared for PAC Champs with warm-clothing, snacks, water, and a great...

From Coach Brian: 28 Swim Torrance SR1, SR2, PS1 and AG1 group swimmers, tired of a long cold, windy, rainy winter, made their way to sunny and funny Chandler, Arizona for the Lost Dutchman meet Feb 17-19. Despite cold mornings, and evenings during the meet, the swimmers used the sunlight on their faces as they got up on the blocks, and the extra vitamin D in their bodies as they moved through the pool, to produce some amazing swims. Hillary swam to her first Sectional qualifying times in the 100...

From Coach Chantal: Great swims from Pre-Senior 1 & 2 swimmers. Everyone communicated well on what their race plans were in their pre-race talks. A lot of confidence in both their plan and execution in their races brought in some best times for the Pre-Seniors. It was exciting to see the confidence and focus in themselves and their races. Thank you to the parents for volunteering in all the needed positions to host the meet. Especially parents who did the Meet Marshal quiz and volunteered for the position in such...

Coach Chantal: Everyone really shined at the meet this past weekend! Not only did several swimmers achieve WAG times and duckies as heat winners, across the board swimmers were dropping times due to their race efforts and skills! All the swimmers were great with the swimmer check-in before warm-ups and getting to warm-ups on time to prepare for their respective meet sessions each day. The feedback and awareness of skills and efforts is growing and I'm excited for everyone's mid season meet in December! Also wanted to thank the parents...
