Karl Kozicki Head Coach/Program Director

Coach Karl is a native of Farmington Hills MI and a graduate of North Farmington HS.  He is a graduate of  Oakland University in Rochester MI and was a 10 time NCAA Division II All American, a member of 3 NCAA Division I I National Title winning squads and Team Captain his senior year.  Karl began coaching with the Oakland Live Y’ers in Rochester MI as Top Senior Assistant, and was part of the 2000 Boys runner up finish at the North East Junior Nationals.  In the fall of 2000 Karl became Head Coach of the Anderson Swim Club in SC. In his 8 years there Karl coached all levels from developmental swimmers to Senior National Qualifiers, building the program from 30 swimmers to almost 100 during his tenure.  In 2008 Coach Karl became Top Senior Assistant for Y Spartaquatics. At YSSC Karl developed multiple State and Sectional    Record Holders; Y National Finalist; Summer Junior National; and Olympic Trial Qualifiers.  Karl is a Level 5 American Swimming coaches Association certified coach. His swimmers have produced more than 70 National Age Group Top Ten swims, and three #1 ranked swims.  Karl believes that the personal connection between the coach and athlete; along with hard work and dedication are fundamentally important in the sport of swimming.  Karl resides in Williamston SC with his wife Erica and his two daughters Adison, and Abigail.

Danyelle Parker Admin. Manager/Head Age Group Coach

Danyelle Parker works primarily with Blue Development and Blue High Performance groups.   Prior to joining the staff at Team Greenville, Coach Danyelle coached for seven years with Y-Spartaquatics, in Duncan, SC.   While coaching at Y-Spartaquatics Coach Danyelle worked with Age Group swimmers as a lead group coach, as well as with the youngest swimmers entering competitive swimming.   Coach Danyelle also coached in the Boston area for several years beginning as the Head Coach at the Salem YMCA, which under her leadership went which under her leadership went on to merge with five other YMCA’s to form the YMCA of the North Shore.    While in Boston, Coach Danyelle coached numerous New England Area Age Group Champions, National level swimmers, and YMCA New England Champions.   

Coach Danyelle grew up in Greenville, and fell in love with the sport of swimming when she joined SAIL swimming.   Upon moving to Boston in high school Coach Danyelle continued to swim and played soccer.   Coach Danyelle graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a degree in Political Science and Biology.   Coach Danyelle lives in Greer with her husband Andrew and their three daughter’s Riley, Caroline, and Bridget.    Coach Danyelle loves to cook, read, and spend time at the beach! 

Colton Spark Billing Admin, Coach GHP and Senior

Coach Colton is a Greenville native and knows swimming in this area.  As an athlete, Colton was a YMCA National Finalist and competed for Division III Powerhouse Kenyon College in Ohio.  Colton has coached club for two seasons at YSSC and worked with Stone Lake and Orchard Farms SAIL teams.   Coach Colton will be the lead coach for Green High Performance and Senior.  Coach Colton is also the team billing coordinator.

Tayla Lovemore Lead Age Group

Coach Tayla was born and raised on the beaches of Durban, South Africa. In 2014, she was recruited to Indian River State College, where she went on to earn her AA degree in Marine Biology, while achieving NJCAA All-American status and breaking multiple NJCAA records. In 2016, she continued her collegiate swimming career at Florida State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Environment and Society and was a school record holder and NCAA All-American Honorable mention in the 100 yard butterfly. Post-undergraduate, she went on to earn a master's degree in Environmental Science specializing in sea turtle predation in the Northern Gulf of Mexico, allthewhile, competing on the international stage where she competed at multiple World Championships, both long course and short course as well as competed in the first two seasons of the International Swimming league and double-gold medalling at the 2019 World University Games. Her experience as an athlete gave her the passion and drive to become a coach. In between her studies, and training, she spent time coaching all age groups from Learn-To-Swim all the way up to pre-college and master's athletes in Tallahassee,Florida. Also, Tayla was the main artery for administrative communication and social media at Seminole Swim Club. Coach Tayla has a strong background in biomechanics and physiology, but her contagious positivity and enthusiasm for helping kids grow in life through swimming, is her best quality as a coach. 

Lorin Collins Head Site Coach Holly Tree

Coach Lorin Collins is our full time Head Site Coach at Holly Tree. Lorin grew up in Phoenix, Arizona as the daughter of a former competitive swimmer and developed a love for the sport at an early age. She brings 14 years of coaching and lessons experience to our staff. Lorin has been the Head Coach of Florida Elite Swimming in Land O’ Lakes FL, and Head Site Coach for the Marlins of Raleigh. She has coached at all levels of the sport and has had multiple Junior National qualifiers and National Age Group “Top 10” ranked swims.

Lorin is an intelligent, organized individual that genuinely cares about developing good people as well as good swimmers. She has strong leadership skills and work ethic; we are blessed to have her to help TG take the program to the next level. Coach Lorin is a huge Clemson fan and shares the same philosophy as Coach Dabo. First developing kind, respectful members of society. Then preaching “Best is the Standard,” be the best swimmer, teammate, and student you can be.

Julia Schuman Assistant Coach

Coach Julia was born and raised in Beaver, Pennsylvania outside of Pittsburgh.  She swam year-round for Riverside Swim team from the age of eight.  She grew up giving swim lessons while in high school and college.  After college Julia was employed in Colorado Springs, Colorado as a Physical Therapy Assistant, while still pursuing her love of swimming.While living in CO she was blessed to have the opportunity to train and teach those who served in the United States Army on Fort Carson.  Having recently moved to South Carolina, Julia continued to be very involved in swimming, having taught swim lessons for all levels and age groups, including the wonderful opportunity to coach for Team Greenville.  Julia is very excited to be coaching for Team Greenville and getting to know the swimmers while having fun. Julia’s hope is not only to develop great swimmers, but to build strong young men and ladies in character, integrity, and confidence both in and out of the pool.

When Julia is not coaching, she can be seen in the pool practicing with the Greenville Splash (Swim Masters Team) or hiking when she can make it to the mountains. She is also a mom of 3, all of which swim for Team Greenville!   Julia enjoys traveling as much as possible, although her favorite spot will always be the beach with her toes in the water.

Julia is happy to be part of Team Greenville and is thrilled to be coaching her passion of swimming!

Pamela Stachelek Assistant Coach
Cile Williamson Assistant Coach

Coach Cile has been at Team Greenville for 14 years.   She began as a swim parent, and has held roles with the Booster Club, and now coaching.  Coach Cile also is an avid Masters swimmer, and is the Head Coach of the JL Mann Patriots, where she has led her team to three State Championships in just seven seasons.     She is an ASCA Level 2 certified coach.
