The Pleasanton Seahawks Swim team sent 6 swimmers who qualified to compete in the ‘Fina Swimming World Cup’ in Budapest.  Representing the Pleasanton Seahawks:  Sydney Lu, 50meter Fly:  28.73 and 100m Fly:  1:03.35:  Miranda Heckman, 800m Free 8:54.84.  Mattias Blanco, 100m Back 58.46 and 200m Back 2.08.57.  Calvin David, 200m Free 1:52.63.  Tyler Lu, 200m Free 1:50.83 and 400m Free 3:55.47 and Nick Skinner, 200m Back 2:05.57 and 1500m Free 16.11.04.  Congratulations to the Pleasanton Seahawks for competing at World Cup in Budapest!

The 2018 Western Zone Age Group Championships, Aug 8-11, welcomed 16 All-Star Teams from 12 western states (AK, CA, CO, ID, HI, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY).  California entered five All-Star Teams (San Diego-Imperial, SoCal, Inland Empire, Central Cal, and Pacific).   Approximately 721 swimmers (14 & under) competed in 102 events at the Roseville Aquatic Center. The Speedo Long Course Far Western Championships 2018 took place July 26-29 in Moraga. The Pleasanton Seahawks hosted the Speedo Short Course Junior Olympics Championship held on Friday, March 16 through Sunday, March 18 at the Dolores Bengston Aquatic Center in Pleasanton, California.  A total of 79 swim clubs representing approximately 912 swimmers (14 and under) were in attendance.
