The Pleasanton Seahawks swim at ‘Junior Olympics’ in Walnut Creek, California

The Pleasanton Seahawks had many swimmers qualify for and compete at the ‘Age 14 and under 2019 Pacific Swimming Short Course Yard Junior Olympic Championships’.  The Walnut Creek Aqua Bears sponsored this trial and final meet and was held in Walnut Creek, CA on March 15-17, 2019.  The meet had 73 teams, 430 girls and 346 boys competing.  Representing the Pleasanton Seahawks:  Salma Dwidar age 10 with 4 new best times;  Francesca Rong Lin (9) 1BT;  Oryan Liu (10) 9BT;  Kealan Tupper (9) 1BT;  Christopher Wang (9) 7BT;  Lawrence Wong (9);  Songrui Wu (10)7 BT;  Ziyue Yang (10) 3BT;  Brooke Bennett (11) 8BT;  Lillyana Caples (12) 12 BT;  Sydney Goldstein (11)  3BT;  Emmy Loftus (11) 3BT;  Natalie Mak (11) 9BT;  Alexis Mesina (11) 8 BT and was also the 11 year old female high point winner!  Congratulations to Alexis!  Namya Sarup (12)  1BT;  Annie Wang (12) 1BT;  Emma Wang (12) 7BT;  Maria Zhang (11) 7BT;  Aryaa Bhatia (11) 3BT;  Hunter Bian (11) 4BT;  Iian Burnes (11);  Jaren Burnes (11) 2BT;  Devyn Caples (12) 7BT;  Connor Chen (12);  Ayan Goel (12) 2BT;  Jeremy Ting (11)  6BT;  Aria Harris (14) 2BT;  Breuklynn Harris (14) 3BT;  Francesca Hawkins (14);  Emily Lau (13);  Kaitlin Lee (13)3BT;  Cynthia Li (13)2BT;  Florence Rui Lin (13);  Chloe Xu (13);  Richard Bai (14);  Jai Channon (14);  Yassin Dwidar (13) 5BT;  Jason Jiang (14) 1BT;  Hayden Tupper (13) 10BT;  Samuel Wang (13) 4BT and Dominick Wonosaputra age 13 with  3 new best times.  Congratulations to the Pleasanton Seahawks swimmers.  Many of these swimmers now qualified for the Far Western Championships coming us in Santa Clara!  Go Seahawks!
